Application Instructions for Metal Adhesive

For optimal results, the surfaces to be bonded should be clean, dry, and free of grease or oil. Mix equal parts of the two components in a 1:1 ratio and apply the epoxy adhesive to the surfaces to be bonded within 5-10 minutes. At higher temperatures, the 2K epoxy resin reacts faster. The adhesive becomes hand-tight after 15 minutes and reaches its full strength after about 24 hours. Excess resin can be mechanically processed and painted once cured. This 2-component adhesive is excellent for bonding metal to plastic, metal to wood, and many other materials.

Technical Specifications of the Metal Adhesive

The Everglue 5-Minute Epoxy Liquid Metal is based on epoxy resin and contains a metal component that provides additional strength. The adhesive is grey and has a viscosity of ~8,000-16,000 mPa·s at +25 °C. The density is 1.4 g/ml. The cured resin has a hardness of 85 Shore D and a temperature resistance of -40 °C to +120 °C. The gap-filling capacity is 3 mm, and full strength is achieved after 24 hours. With a tensile shear strength of over 10 MPa (N/mm²) and an elastic modulus of 125,000-175,000 psi, this epoxy resin 2-component adhesive is ideal for demanding applications. It is also suitable for filling cracks in wood with epoxy resin and for use as a 2K component adhesive for various materials.
